Downed tree limbs, power outages and business alarms were reported in Haverhill over the last few days. Officials say they began receiving calls about power outages, downed limbs and alarms starting about 12:45 Saturday afternoon. Those reports were among the effects that highlighted Haverhill’s experience with the season’s early nor’easter.

An official said the rain from the system has not done enough to dramatically change local drought conditions.
