The Daily News of Newburyport reported that Greater Newburyport was hit by a weekend-long nor’easter that lasted more than 48 hours, producing high winds and periods of torrential rain.
Outdoor events were canceled and a wedding was forced to be moved indoors. Trees were knocked down during the storm, disrupting plans and local gatherings over the weekend.
