Attorney General Announces $525,000 Settlement With Lawrence Trash Hauler
The Massachusetts attorney general’s office said it agreed to a $525,000 settlement with a trash-hauling company. The office alleges the company repeatedly failed to empty overflowing trash and recycling containers at Lawrence public schools, delayed or skipped scheduled residential pickups, and did not collect yard waste.
The claims describe lapses in waste and recycling service affecting both school properties and households in Lawrence. WHAV reported the attorney general’s office made the announcement and presented the allegations.
