Haverhill Plans Middle School Field Hockey Program
Haverhill Public Schools plans to introduce field hockey for middle school students beginning next spring. The district confirmed Samantha Shea, who coaches varsity field hockey at Haverhill High, will lead the new program.
Shea said organizers must assess how many students want to take part before deciding the format. She added that with adequate turnout the program could stage full-team matches rather than only limited training activities. WHAV reported on the district’s plans.
