David E. Irving of Rowley died October 18, 2026, at 83. A Vietnam veteran, he taught history at Lynn Classical for 40 years, served 30 years on the Whittier Regional Vocational Technical School Committee and was Senior Deacon Emeritus of the First Congregational Church. He is survived by his wife Donna L. Irving, daughter Diane Ellis and son Edward Ellis.
